This novel 7TM receptor is a new polynucleotide consisting of an isolated polynucleotide containing a nucleotide sequence having at least 80% identity with a whole nucleotide sequence for coding new 7TM receptor (H2CAA 71) having amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, or a complementary nucleotide sequence to the isolated polynucleotide, and useful for therapies, diagnoses, etc., of infectious diseases, pains, cancers, anorexia, bulimia, asthma, Parkinson disease, hypertension, anuresis, osteoporosis, stenocardia, cardiac infractions, ulcers, allergies, benign prostatic hypertrophy, mental diseases, etc. The polynucleotide is obtained by standard cloning and screening of a cDNA library derived from human placental cells.
