Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Benzamide derivatives of formula I [R1 is hydroxyl, alkoxyl, alkenyloxy, aminoalkoxy, substituted aminoalkoxy group; R2, R3 are H, heteroring, alkyl, substituted alkyl; R4 is H, alkyl, carboxyl, esterified carboxyl, alkylcarbonyl; R5 is aminocarbonylalkyl, substituted aminocarbonylalkyl, hydroxyalkyl].
EXAMPLE: 2-Ethoxy-5-hydroxyacetamide-benzamide.
USE: Analgesic: they have high analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity, low toxicity and form almost no methaemoglobin.
PREPARATION: The reaction of a benzoic acid or its reactive derivative with ammonia or a primary or secondary amine affords the compound of formula I.
