To provide a compound that is sufficiently satisfactory as a medical drug and inhibits the function of GIP, and to provide a prophylactic or an improving agent for preventing or improving obesity, insulin resistance, and fat accumulation in liver by inhibiting the function of GIP, in particular, inhibiting the binding of GIP receptor.
There are disclosed a compound represented by formula (I), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, an agent of inhibiting the binding of GIP receptor comprising the compound as an effective component, and a prophylactic or improving agent comprising the compound as an effective component for preventing or improving obesity or the like. In the formula, for example, W represents CR1 (wherein R1 is a halogen atom or a cyano group) or the like, and V represents a nitrogen-containing heterocycle.
