USE: Raw material of various high-performance thermoplastic polymer and surface active agent, stabilizer or its raw material.

PROCESS: The compound of formulaIis prepared by reacting cresol with a compound selected from the compounds of formula II, formula III and formula IV such as 1,3-diisopropenylbenzene at -20W+100°C in the presence of an acidic condensation agent such as hydrochloric acid.
