Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formulaI(R1 and R2 together with N form a 4-alkylpiperazinyl group or R1 is H and R2 is phenyl, cycloalkyl, etc. which may be substituted by an alkyl) and an acid addition salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: 1-(trans-4-guanidinomethylcyclohexanecarbonyl)-4-methylpiperazine hydrochloride.
USE: Useful as a medicine having antiulcer action.
PROCESS: A 4-quanidinomethylcyclohexanecarboxylic acid or a reactive derivative thereof, e.g. an acid chloride, is reacted with an amine of formula II (R1' and R2' together with N form a 4-alkylpiperazinyl or R1' is H and R2' is phenyl, etc. which may be substituted by an alkyl) in an organic solvent, e.g. pyridine, at room temperatureW120°C to give the aimed compound of formulaI.
