Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a drink composition having a slight acidity of citrus fruits and good flavor, by adding lyophilized fine powder of pericarp of citrus fruits to fine powder of coffee, tea, green tea, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Pericarp of lemon, orange other citrus fruits is cut into a proper size, about 1.0W30mm, lyophilized, and pulverized to give fine powder comprising the greater part of it with 10μ particle diameter. Coffee fine powder, tea fine powder or green tea fine powder prepared by a conventional procedure is blended with a proper amount, 0.1W20wt% of the fine powder of the pericarp and, if necessary, a proper amount of a sweetener.
