Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the novel compd. which is an excitatory amino acid antagonist for mammals and treats the diseases of the mammals sensitive with the shut-off of glutamic acid and aspartic acid receptors.
CONSTITUTION: A compd. of formula I [R1 and R2 are each 1-6C alkyl, R1 and R2 together form -(CH2)n- ((n) is 3 to 5)]. For example, 5-N,N- dimethylsulfamoyl-1H-6,7,8,9-tetrahydrobenz[g]-indole-2,3-dione-3-oxime. The compd. of formula I is obtd. by bringing a compd. of formula II and hydroxylamine, salt and its reactive deriv. into reaction.
