Title:
NOVEL PEPTIDES AND COMBINATIONS OF PEPTIDES FOR USE IN IMMUNOTHERAPY AGAINST EPITHELIAL OVARIAN CANCER AND OTHER CANCERS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2020198875
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide peptides for use in cancer immunotherapy, nucleic acids encoding the peptides, T lymphocytes activated ty the peptides, antibodies that recognize the peptides, kits and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same, and methods for producing personalized anticancer vaccines using the peptides.SOLUTION: The invention provides: a peptide comprising an amino acid sequence which is at least 88% homologous to a peptide sequence derived from HLA class I and HLA class II molecules of a human tumor cell, where the peptide binds to a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule and is recognized by CD4 and/or CD8T cells, and not a full-length polypeptide; a nucleic acid encoding the peptide; an activated T lymphocyte activated by the peptide; an antibody that recognizes the peptide. The invention also provides kits and pharmaceutical compositions for use in the diagnosis and/or treatment of cancer comprising the peptide, the nucleic acid, the T lymphocyte or the antibody, and methods for producing personalized cancer vaccines using the peptides.SELECTED DRAWING: None
