Abstract:
To provide a novel polycyclic compound which can be used as a light conversion agent, a dye, a pigment, a fluorescent agent or an ultraviolet or blue light absorber and to provide a method for synthesizing the same and use of the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented, for example, by the following compound (7), which contains a plurality of carbon rings and/or a heterocyclic ring structure and has a visible light or fluorescent emitting group in which at least one UV light and/or blue light absorbing group are covalently bonded to provide stability. The compound can be used for a product such as an optical film, an agricultural film, an optical disc (compact disc), an optical lense, a goggle, a skin care product, a color cosmetic, an illumination tool, a coating material, an adhesive, a light stabilizer or a panel as a light conversion agent, a dye, a pigment, a fluorescent agent or an ultraviolet or blue light absorber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
