NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formulaI(R1 is H, lower alkyl, aralkyl, etc.; R2 is lower alkyl; m and n are 1W3).
EXAMPLE: 2-[2-[[[2-[( Diaminomethylene )amino]-4-thiazolyl]methyl] thio]ethyl]-6-methylpyrimidine-4-one.
USE: A suppressive agent for the secretion of acid in the stomach and an antiphlogistic.
PROCESS: For example, an amidine derivative {e.g., 3-[[[2-[(diaminomethylene)amino]-4-thiazolyl]methyl]thio]propionamidine hydrochloride, etc.]} shown by the formula II is reacted with an acylacetic acid ester derivative (e.g., ethyl acetoacetate, etc.) shown by the formula III (R5 is lower alkyl-, and, if necessary, in the presence of a base such as sodium methoxide, etc.
