Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula IWVI (R41 is H or OH; Rha is rhamnose; n is integer of 1W5).
USE: An antienzyme.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula IWVI can be prepared easily from the plants such as CHIYU (root of Sanguisorba officinalis), URAJIROGASHI (bark of Quercus salicina), KEIHI (bark of Cinnamon cassia), KINAHI (bark of Cinchona succirubra), MEHIRUGI (bark of Kandelia candel), KURIJUHI (bark of Castanea crenata), etc., by conventional process such as extraction with acetone, partition with ethyl acetate and water, or column chromatography, etc.
