Title:
NOX-REDUCING COMBUSTION METHOD WITH CONCENTRATED COAL FLOW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004037072
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a method of improving combustion of coal to reduce discharge of NOx without significantly increasing carbon contained in the un-burned ash, desirably, by utilizing characteristic of a coal concentration.
Formation of NOx in combustion of the hydrocarbonaceous fuel such as coal is reduced by separating a flow having a fuel solid material/air ratio higher than that of a fuel solid material and air supply flow from the fuel solid material and air flow, and filling the flow thereby obtained and a small quantity of oxygen into a burner in a part wherein the fuel solid material is burned.
