PURPOSE: To exterminate flea of other noxious insects inhabiting in fur of a pet animal effectively using a small quantity of noxious insect exterminating agent by providing an accommodation part whose one side face at least is formed porous, and allowing this part to accommodate a gradually collapsing solid agent for exterminating noxious insect which includes a collapse aid and a high oil absorptive powder.
CONSTITUTION: For filling with paste, a collapse aid such as pulverized metallic soap is added to a power which bears a noxious insect exterminating agent so as to collapse solidified powder after drying to a size admitting passage of porous substance, and at the same time, wetting of the surface of powder due to the terminating agent or a synergist is eliminated. Further, a high oil absorptive powder of, for example, anhydrous silicic acid is added for enhancement of fluidity. The above-mentioned powder to be accommodated in the powder accommodation part provided with porosity is put to fill it upon being turned into paste form using water, and a subsequent drying process turns it into solid form with weak bond. This exterminating agent is embodied as a collar or fixed to the inside of a collar, which is fitted on a pet animal. When the pet moves its head or makes a motion, the solidified powder in the accommodation part collapses gradually, goes out of holes of the porous part, attaches dispersively to the fur of the pet. Thus, the noxious insect exterminating effect is exerted.
