PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition which can be heat evaporated in a short time, safely, without smoke while suppressing the decomposition of the effective components, by compounding a heat-vaporizable noxious life exterminating agent, calcium oxide, and a compound containing water of crystallization which generates heat by the contact with calcium oxide.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding a heat- vaporizable noxious life exterminating agent [e.g. allethrin, Sumithion (trade name of Sumitomo Chemical Ind.)], calcium oxide, and a compound having water of crystallization and generating heat by the contact with calcium oxide (e.g. sodium sulfate decahydrate, silicic acid, sodium carbonate decahydrate, etc.). The exterminating agent can be evaporated in a short time by a chemical means, and the absence of a combustion agent eliminates the troubles of smoking, toxicity, irritating smell, etc. Since it does not use an electric heater, it can be used at anywhere without the danger of electric shock.
