Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a pressure loss in a corner part of a peripheral wall of a nozzle body for installing a whirler, in a nozzle in which the turning whirler is assembled on the inside.SOLUTION: A propeller-shaped whirler, which has an inflow port on the rear end of a cross-sectional circular flow passage along the central axis of a nozzle body, has an injection port on the front end and projects a plurality of twisted blades from an outer surface of the central axis, is arranged so as to abut on a peripheral wall inner surface for enclosing the inflow port side flow passage, and a turning chamber, a contraction flow chamber, a small-diameter chamber and an injection port chamber expanding in a trumpet shape are successively provided over the injection port from a front part of an installation position of the whirler. The peripheral wall inner surface for enclosing the whirler is diametrically contracted forward at an inclination angle of 2.5°-7.5°, and the virtual outer periphery constituted of the plurality of blades for abutting on the peripheral wall inner surface is inclined at an angle equal to the inclination angle, and is also continued via a round part without providing an edge in any of a boundary between the turning chamber and the contraction flow chamber, a boundary between the contraction flow chamber and the small-diameter chamber and a boundary between the small-diameter chamber and the injection port chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
