To provide a technique of delivering a nucleic acid drug such as short-chain nucleic acid molecules in systemic or topical administration, the technique allowing the drug to act effectively.
There is provided an exosome-containing agent for introducing nucleic acid to cells, the exosome containing a nucleic acid exogenous to the cells from which the exosome is derived. There are also provided a process for producing a nucleic acid introducing agent, that includes introducing the target exogenous nucleic acid into a cell, and isolating an exosome-containing fraction from a culture fluid of the cell, and a method of introducing a nucleic acid to a target cell, that includes bringing the nucleic acid introducing agent into contact with the target cell.
