Abstract:
To provide techniques for reducing stability of formed polynucleotide double strands.SOLUTION: The disclosed method comprises introducing into a polynucleotide at least one kind of nucleoside unit selected from a group consisting of: nucleoside unit 1 in which a group of a formula (1): -NH-C(=O)-R1 (in the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) is linked to 2' carbon atom of a sugar: nucleoside unit 2 in which the amino group in cytosine is replaced by a hydrocarbon group; and a nucleoside unit 3 in which a group of a formula 3: -(O-CH2-)n-(S-)m-R4 (in the formula: R4 is a hydrocarbon group, n and m are respectively an integer of 1-3) is linked to 2' carbon atom of a sugar.SELECTED DRAWING: None
