Title:
NUCLEIC ACID PROBE-IMMOBILIZED SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE PRESENCE OF TARGET NUCLEIC ACID BY USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3917640
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe-immobilized substrate that enables high-efficiency hybridization.
SOLUTION: The method for detecting the presence of target nucleic acid comprises following three steps: the step where the primer satisfying the X, Y relation of X≥Y, Y≥10 &angst and 200 &angst ≥X is used to amplify the sample nucleic acid of more than 70 bases in the total length; the step where the amplified product obtained from the above-stated amplification is allowed to react with the nucleic probe; and the step where the presence of the target nucleic acid is judged in the nucleic acid sample by detecting the hybridization caused by the pre-step reaction.
