The numerical control apparatus 10 is used to control a laser beam machine 30. The numerical control apparatus 10 for controlling the laser beam machine 30 comprises a machining condition storage means (a nonvolatile memory 13) that stores laser beam machining conditions according to the inclination angle of a torch 41 to a workpiece and a machining condition selection means that selects laser beam machining conditions, according to the inclination angle of the torch 41 in the machining of the workpiece 44 with the laser beam machine 30, from the machining condition storage means, and the laser beam machine 30 is controlled based on the laser beam machining conditions selected from the machining condition selection means.
