Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently correct profile data and improve working accurcy by once working a workpiece according to ideal profile data determined from the finished shape of the workpiece without measuring the profile of the workpiece by the manual operation of an operator using a cam measuring means or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A numerical control machine tool is provided with an ideal profile data storing means 322 for storing the ideal profile data determined from the finished shape of a workpiece W and a measuring means 38 for controlling a spindle and a tool feed shaft (X axis) on the basis of the ideal profile data to detect and store the present value of the tool feed shaft (X axis) corresponding to a position of the spindle. An error calculating means 328 for comparing data stored in the measuring means 38 with the ideal profile data to calculate errors and a data correcting means 327 for correcting the ideal profile data on the basis of the errors calculated by the error calculating means 321 are provided.
