PURPOSE: To rapidly and precisely numerically control a load by setting a counted value in which the driving and stopping points of a load correspond to the moving distance of the load in a counter, and controlling it with remaining counted value when it is subtracted by a position detection signal.
CONSTITUTION: A ball screw 4 is driven by the output of a 2-phase reluctance motor H, and a load E is driven by its output shaft. A counted value corresponding to the load E is set in a counter, and the set counted value is subtracted by utilizing the position detection signal of the motor H. The motor H is driven at a high speed in a zone in which the remaining counted value is larger than a first set value, it is converted to a reverse torque to be abruptly decelerated when it reaches the first set value, and it is driven at a constant speed to become a predetermined speed. When the remaining counted value becomes a second set value, it is converted to a 2-phase stepping motor. When the remaining counted value becomes zero, change of an input electric signal for a stepping operation is stopped to stop the motor. Thus, the numerical control of the load E can be rapidly and precisely conducted.
