Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make flexible a tool determining system and to attain the desired processing program preparation by providing a system capable of determination of the tool with an operator in addition to an automatic determination system at the software of an automatic programming system. CONSTITUTION:When an operator determining system 9 is selected, an automatic programming system 3 collects data 10, which come to a tool determining group, from a set processing definition, and with the data 10 as a key, a group of applicable tools 11 is searched from a group of tools at a tool file 5 and a group of tools 12 is extracted. Next, the group 12 is displayed on a CRT 7. An operator refers to the displayed group 12, the operator determines an optimum tool 14 and this is inputted from a keyboard 6. By the keyboard input of the operator, the automatic programming system 3 displays tool data 15 inputted onto the CRT 7. Thus, the operator can prepare the processing program with satisfied feeling.
