To provide a device for directly generating tool movement command data from the three-dimensional work shape of a work by extracting a work area from the three-dimensional work shape and dividing the obtained work area according to the features of the work.
A shape input means 1 inputs the three-dimensional work shape to be worked, a material-to-be-cut shape setting means 2 sets the shape of a material to be cut and a work area extraction means 3 extracts the work area by the shapes obtained by the shape input means 1 and the material-to-be- cut shape setting means 2. A work area work feature division means 4 divides the obtained work area according to the features of the work and a work order setting means 5 sets the work order of areas divided by the work area work feature division means 4. A tool movement command data generation means 7 generates the tool movement command data by the respective work orders and the respective pieces of work information obtained by the work order setting means 5 and a work information input means 6 for the respective work areas obtained by the work area work feature division means 4.
