PURPOSE: To obtain the numerical input device which can improve input operability in the case of changing a value having small accuracy or contrarily having large accuracy and inputting a value having the large number of valid digits.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an input condition setting means 1 to set input conditions, unit amount change request receiving means 2 to receive the change request of a unit amount from an operator, numerical control means 3 to control (manage) a current numerical value according to the operation of the operator such as the rotation of a dial or the move of a mouse and the change request of the unit amount and to execute echo display as needed, and numerical value returning means 4 to inform the current numerical value according to a trigger input from the operator.
