To provide a nut split tool that is excellent in workability even outdoors and the like, is configured to easily approach a hexagon nut, and has a structure preventing a broken hexagon nut from scattering from a holder portion.SOLUTION: A nut split tool 1 is equipped with a body 2, a head portion 3, and a power supply portion 5. The head portion 3 has a holder portion 11, an arm portion 12, and a first wedge portion 15 and a second wedge portion 16 arranged facing each other at positions across a hexagon nut along an axis P1. The first wedge portion 15 is fixed to the holder portion 11, and the second wedge portion 16 is configured to be pushed by pushing force of a piston while being inserted in a through-hole formed on the arm portion 12. The holder portion 11 is formed with a first projecting portion 17 on which any one of apex portions of the hexagon nut abuts and is positioned, a first recess portion 21 formed so as to come close to the first wedge portion 15 from the first projecting portion 17, and a second recess portion 22 formed so as to come close to the second wedge portion 16 from the first projecting portion 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
