Abstract:
To provide a compound that can serve as a primer for elongation of O-mannosyl glycan sugar chains associated with muscular dystrophy, a composition thereof and a production method therefor, and a sugar chain elongation method using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an isolated Rbo5 P-3GalNAcβ compound, where Rbo5 P represents ribitol (Rbo) forming a phosphoester bond with phosphoric acid (P) at 5-th position, and 3GalNAcβ represents aβ-N-acetylgalactosamine compound forming a phosphoester bond with the phosphoric acid (P) at 3rd position, or a salt of the compound.
