Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously measure the flow rate of a fluid even when abnormality occurs by resetting a stored cumulative flow rate value, function data, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A cumulative flow rate value found by means of the flow rate measuring means 2 and function data set by means of a setting means 6 are stored in a nonvolatile storing means 8. When an initializing signal is outputted from an initializing means 14 after the voltage of a power source 13 once drops due to battery exhaustion, etc., a rewriting means 11 sets the data stored in the storing means 8 as the initial value of the measuring means 2. Therefore, even when the measuring means 2 becomes abnormal due to a power supply trouble, etc., flow rate measurement can be restarted by restoring the cumulative flow rate data and function data to those before the abnormality when such a necessary measure as battery exchange, etc., is taken.
