Abstract:
To provide an object detection sensor capable of appropriately detecting a person in a detection area.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an object detection sensor comprising: an infrared ray emission section 12 which emits infrared rays toward a predetermined detection area 3; an infrared ray detection section 13 capable of detecting infrared rays that are incident from the detection area 3; and a presence/absence determination section 14 which performs presence/absence determination processing for determining presence/absence of an object in the detection area 3 on the basis of a preset reference value and a detection value in the infrared ray detection section 13. The object detection sensor also comprises a voice output section 20 capable of outputting voices. In a case where the presence/absence determination section 14 determines occurrence of a continuation state where a state that the detection value of the infrared ray detection section 13 is different from the reference value by a preset value or more is continued for a preset period or longer, the voice output section 20 outputs information relating to the occurrence of the continuation state in voice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
