Abstract:
To track a flow line of an object even if the whole object is not detected, regardless of a type and an imaging angle of an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An object tracking apparatus 1 includes an object region identification unit 123 that identifies each of first object regions of one or more objects that appeared in a captured image at a first time in a predetermined area, a model region identification unit 125 that identifies a plurality of second model regions corresponding to the first model region in which a distance to the identified one ore more first object regions respectively is relatively short, a tracking information acquisition unit 121 that acquires tracking information including positional information of the second object region of the object in the captured image captured at time different from the first time, and an updating unit 126 that updates the tracking information by identifying a position of the object corresponding to the tracking information at the first time based on a position of the second model region in which a distance to the second object region corresponding to the acquired tracking information is relatively short.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
