Title:
OBJECTIVE LENS AND OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009054244
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an objective lens having environmental and light resistance securing high transmittance of each of a plurality of wavelengths.

The objective lens 15 is used for an optical pickup device for performing write and/or read to/from an optical information recording medium by a light from a light source, and converges light fluxes of a plurality of wavelengths including a wavelength 1(380 nm1420 nm) and a wavelength 2(630 nm2810 nm) on the optical information recording medium. The objective lens 15 has a light source side numerical aperture of 0.8 to 0.9 for the wavelength 1, and a light source numerical aperture of 0.7 or less for the wavelength 2. In an S1 surface 71 of the light source side, an antireflection film 81 is formed having a band of 700 to 800 nm where reflectance in the wavelength 400 to 1200 nm of a light flux vertically entering the center 73 of the S1 surface 71 is 3%.
