Abstract:

PURPOSE: To observe operating conditions in the inside of a blast furnace in details and to control the combustion of coke, etc. easily by inserting a scope into the blast furcace, photographing high speed moving objects at an ultrahigh speed, drawing frames at constant intervals and processing the same to continuous visual images to obtain a moving picture image.

CONSTITUTION: A spcope 12 is inserted through the blast supporting pipe of a blast furnace, and high speed moving objects are photographed continuously with a camera 13 by using an ultrahigh speed shutter having ≥10-6sec. shutter function and ≥103 amplification function. The photographed film thereof is fed via a color processing part 15 or the like to a video sheet recorder 18. Timing signals are fed from a system control part 23 thereto to process only the frames drawn at constant intervals from the max. photographing frame number to continuous visible videos which are projected in a color monitor 24. Thereby, the loci of scattered coke particles, etc. are traced visually easily.
