Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a familiar win-loss game which has no tied game at all as compared with conventional games of this kinds such as a ticktacktoe and a gobang which have a tied game, and can be developed into various kinds of matching even if the number of pieces and the number of divisions are much less.

CONSTITUTION: In the odd piece set-out game, each piece on which 1 is indicated, is allowed to make only one step back and forth and to the right and the left, and 3 is indicated instead of 1, each piece can make only three steps, however, since the number of advancement is limited to odd numbers, and finally each piece can be advanced into entire divisions, so that a player can thereby enjoy the various development of the game. Therefore, the familiar and interesting development of the game can be made by means of simple regulations and simple ways for moving each piece, and a win-loss game which gives children a hint, and prevents the aged from being decrepit, can be enjoyed on a board, or by means of electronic toys or television games. The odd piece set-out game is made up of two sets of three pieces on which 1 and 3 are indicated one by one, and of a board which is divided crosswise into a lattice shape having nine divisions.
