Title:
ODOR COUNTERMEASURE DEVICE FOR TOILET SEAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022027402
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To suppress odor by an effective and simple method regardless of the type of toilet bowls and standing or sitting positions, which rises when a person defecates, either naturally or, in Western-style toilets, when the person defecates or farts, pushing air out of the bowl of the toilet seat.SOLUTION: The odor is sucked by a fan from a gap between a bowl and a toilet seat of the Western style toilet, and the exhaust is directed to a wall and upper part of a toilet room, near a ceiling, the existing ventilation fan, a ventilation window, etc. Normally, the space between the toilet seat and the bowl is around 10 mm, but if it is even narrower, the shape of an air supply port can be wider. One of more suction pipes may be used. The fan can be installed in any position by using the pipe that allows air to flow therethrough. The fan can be set with the air supply port, attached to the wall, or attached to a flush tank. If the fan blast is like a tornado, a blast pipe will become unnecessary. Therefore, an odor countermeasure device can be used even in Japanese style toilets and is also effective when a user of the toilet is in a standing or sitting position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
