To provide an offset press, which can provide a display panel with high printing accuracy by installing neither a heating means nor a cooling means, and to provide the manufacturing method of the display panel by employing this press.
This offset press has a gravure roll 1, a blanket roll 2, which receives ink pattern from the gravure roll, and a drying means 3 arranged at a position facing the surface of the outer periphery of the blanket roll. The drying means has a blast pipe 4 arranged at a position apart from the surface of the outer periphery of the blanket roll, a large number of jet nozzles 5 formed on the peripheral wall of the blast pipe and a blower 10 for introducing drying gas in the blast pipe. The blower is arranged in a clean room CR so as to introduce the air in the clean room with its temperature as kept at its room temperature in the blast pipe as drying gas. The blast pipe is arranged at the position, from which drying gas can be possible to blast out against an ink pattern which has been received by the blanket roll.
