PURPOSE: To enable members required to carry printing papers from a paper cassette onto the periphery of an impression cylinder to be omitted to a great extent, by providing paper carry members which suck and hold a printing paper loaded in the paper cassette from above to carry it directly to a predetermined position of the impression cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: A blanket cylinder 6 of the same diameter as a plate cylinder 5 is rotatably disposed, and an impression cylinder 7 is provided downwards of the blanket cylinder 6 so as to rotate in contact with the blanket cylinder 6. In the vicinity of the impression cylinder 7, a paper cassette 47 is provided, and the cassette 47 stores printing papers 48. A carry member 33 secured to a mounting rod 32 consists of a cylindrical air flow chamber 34 blocked at the top thereof and a sucking piece provided at the bottom of the air flow chamber 34, and an air tube 36 is connected to the upper portion of the flow chamber 34. The mounting rod 32 moves vertically and horizontally together with a sliding member 53, and according to this movement the carry members 33 travel vertically between a paper receive position just above the paper cassette 47 and a carry start position set upwards thereof and, moreover, travel horizontally between the carry start position and a paper release position just above a paper holding piece 50 on the periphery of the impression cylinder 7.
