To provide a correction ink composition which has satisfactory hiding power, can continue to keep the hiding power even after a long period of time, does not deteriorate in the drying properties of water-based ballpoint pen ink even when overwriting is performed on the correction ink composition by a water-based ballpoint pen or the like, which allows a coating film formed therefrom to have excellent stability, has excellent storage stability and does not contaminate the corrective coating film.

The correction fluid composition contains: a mixed resin solution, which comprises 5-30 wt.% acrylic synthetic resin (a) (a methyl methacrylate resin) obtained by copolymerizing 93-99.6 wt.% (meth)acrylate, 0.4-2 wt.% basic nitrogen-containing monomer and 1-5 wt.% styrene monomer and 5-20 wt.% acrylic synthetic resin (b) obtained by polymerizing monomers containing an n-butyl methacrylate monomer; 40-60 wt.% hiding pigment, a silica particle and 25-55 wt.% nonpolar organic solvent.
