Title:
OIL BURNING APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3723782
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil burning appliance that shortens extinguishing time lengthened due to heating of a wick guide tube in small thermal power burning.
SOLUTION: The wick guide tube 1 comprising an inner wick guide tube 5 and an outer wick guide tube 2 raised from a fixed tank 4 for storing fuel oil 3 houses a vertically movable wick 13. The inner wick guide tube 5 and the outer wick guide tube 2 have respective flame pan portions 6 and 7 on which a double burning tube 8 is placed. In a range of an outer surface of the inner wick guide tube 5 from an extinguishing position of the wick 13 to a constant oil level C of fuel oil or lower, temperature lowering means 18 of metal of large thermal conductivity is arranged. The temperature lowering means 18 absorbs heat of the inner wick guide tube 5 and radiates it to air and the fuel oil 3 so as to lower temperature and shorten extinguishing time and thereby to provide a safe appliance.
