Abstract:
To provide a surfactant-containing gel formulation for cosmetics, containing oil and/or wax and stable without using a thickener.
A gel-like cosmetic formulation comprises (a) 5-50 wt.% surfactant, (b) 5-50 wt.% oil and/or wax, and (c) 0-15 wt.% water soluble polyol. In the formulation, the component (a) contains at least 10 wt.% citric acid ester of an alkoxylated alcohol based on the whole formulation and the sum of the components (a) and (b) is 10-70 wt.% based on the whole formulation.
