Title:
OIL COOLING SYSTEM OF ENGINE WITH TURBOCHARGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016000963
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems with conventional systems that the oil cooling effect is low and a large volume of cooling water is necessary to cool oil before an oil degradation suppression effect is obtained since the cooling water heated by heat received from exhaust gas is used to cool the oil after lubricating a turbocharger.SOLUTION: An oil cooling system of an engine E equipped with a turbocharger T uses, as cooling water to be introduced from a third cooling water supply path 73 branched off from a first cooling water supply path 71 and different from a second cooling water supply path 72 into a cooling water circulation path 78 of an oil cooler 1 after lubrication of the turbocharger T, not the cooling water after cooling a cooling target region of the engine E and a cooling target region of the turbocharger T but the cooling water that does not pass through the cooling target region of the engine E and the cooling target region of the turbocharger T so as to efficiently cool oil after lubricating each lubrication target region of the turbocharger T (oil after lubricating the turbocharger T). It is, therefore, possible to increase an oil degradation suppression effect even with a small quantity of cooling water.
