Title:
OIL-IN-WATER TYPE CREAM BASE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08291022
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an oil-in-water type cream base material having excellent functional feeling and stability and effective for protection of ultraviolet rays by containing a colloidal water-containing silicate, a polyethylene glycol and fine particle powder and emulsifying by a microfluidizer.

CONSTITUTION: This base material contains 0.2-10wt.% of a colloidal water- containing silicate, 0.2-10wt.% of a polyethylene glycol having 1000-10000 average molecular weight and 0.01-30wt.% fine particle powder (e.g. titanium oxide). Further, preferably 0.01-5wt.% crystalline cellulose, an ultraviolet ray absorber (e.g. ethyl para-aminobenzoate) and a water-soluble polymer (e.g. hyaluronic acid) are mixed. The above components are blended, and emulsified by a microfluidizer and the powder is uniformly dispersed to obtain the objective base material having sustaining effect without self-emulsifying by sweat, etc., because of not containing a surfactant. When an ultraviolet ray absorber is combinedly used, penetration of ultraviolet rays into the skin is prevented, and safety is high because a surfactant is not mixed.
