To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified composition excellent in high temperature/low temperature stability and temporal stability, and also excellent in ultraviolet protection effect and feeling in use.
This oil-in-water type emulsified composition includes following components (A) to (C). (A): Rhododendrol represented by general formula (1) or its derivative (in the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, 2-20C acyl group, or a residue of a monosaccharide or a disaccharide). (B): Ultraviolet absorbers shown by (i) and (ii): (i) one or two or more kinds selected from dimethoxybenzylidene dioxoimidazolidin propionic acid 2-ethylhexyl, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl benzoic acid hexyl, bisethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyltriazine and 4-tert-buthyl-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane, (ii) one or two or more kinds selected from methoxy cinnamic acid ethylhexyl, 2-ethylhexyl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenyl acrylate, para-dimethylaminobenzoic acid 2-ethylhexyl and octyl salicylate, (C): 1-5 mass% polyoxyethylene addition type nonionic surfactant whose HLB value is 12-20.
