Abstract:

PURPOSE: To insure the passage of oil under the condition in which an oil pump is not formed into bulky height, so as to make the oil pump compact.

CONSTITUTION: This oil pump is provided with an inner rotor 52 to rotate in an outer roller 51 of a pump part 5 formed in a pump main body 2, and a hollow rotary shaft 6 to rotate the inner rotor 52. It is constituted so that forcedly fed oil by rotation of the inner rotor 52 is discharged through the oil discharge passage C6 of the rotary shaft 6. In this oil pump, an annular cutout groove 63 is provided on the outer curcumferential face of the rotary shaft 6. A shaft part communicating hole 64 is provided in the cutout groove 63, and a discharge groove 21d to discharge the forcedly fed oil by rotation of the inner rotor 52 is provided in the pump main body 2. The discharge groove 21d is set to face to the cutout groove 63 provided on the rotary shaft 6.
