Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal protection cap which can improve workability by eliminating the attachment work of a lip protection jig.SOLUTION: An oil seal protection cap 10 which is attached to a drive shaft insertion port 115 of a transmission case 100 into which a drive shaft 120 is inserted comprises a lid part 11 for closing the drive shaft insertion port 115, and an external peripheral part 12 fit to an edge of the drive shaft insertion port 115. A first fracture part 11A which is radially formed toward an external peripheral side of the lid part 11 from a center O of the lid part 11, and low in rigidity than the other region of the lid part 11 is formed at the lid part 11, and a second fracture part 12A which is formed by extending the first fracture part 11A from the external peripheral side of the lid part 11, and low in rigidity than the other region of the external peripheral part 12 is formed at the external peripheral part 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
