Abstract:
To provide an oil separator for separating oil contained in a vapor phase refrigerant discharged from an compressor, having high oil separating capability.
An inlet tube for introducing mixed fluid is inserted from a side wall of a container body and a mesh thin film is arranged on an inside wall of the container body near the inlet tube, allowing oil to be adsorbed in a gap between the mesh thin film and the inside wall of the container body, introduced by dead weight into the lower part of the container body, and discharged from an oil discharge tube.
