This oil-water separation and recovery apparatus 1 is equipped with a storage container 6 in which a storage space 5 capable of storing an oil-water mixed fluid containing oil and water 3 is formed, a glass window 8 provided to the side wall 7 of the storage container 6, an introducing part 11 for introducing the oil-water mixed fluid into the storage space 5, a pump 13 for generating suction pressure, an oil recovery pipe 15 communicating with the storage space 5 at its one end from the upper wall 14 of the storage container 6 and connected to the suction port of the pump 13 at its other end, a water recovery pipe 16 communicating with the flow channel of the oil recovery pipe 15 at one end thereof and piercing the upper wall 14 to be embedded in the storage space 5 at the other end thereof up to the vicinity of the lower end of the storage space 5, an oil recovery valve 17 and a water recovery valve 18 capable of opening and closing the oil recovery pipe 15 and the water recovery pipe 16, a drain part 21 and an oil discharge part 24 communicating with the storage space 5 of the storage container 6 and an oil absorbing mat 29 provided in the storage container 6 between the introducing part 11 and the drain part 21.
