In the oil-proof carton, an oilproof coat layer 2 to prevent oil oozing is provided on one side of a base material 1 formed of a paper sheet made of virgin pulp 1a of small contrast between an oil-penetrant portion and a non-oil-penetrant portion, and a covering layer 3 to reduce the contrast between the oil-penetrant portion and the non-oil-penetrant portion is provided on the coat layer 2.
