Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an oily cosmetic, improved in extensibility and adhesion onto the skin and, excellent in non-tackiness and capable of synergistically increasing skin humectant effects by using a polymethylsilsesquioxane powder and a diacylglycerol together in an oily comsetic.
CONSTITUTION: An oily cosmetic is obtained by adding polymethylsilsesquioxane powder (preferably having 1-15μm average particle diameter) and a diacylglycerol [di(2-ethylhexanoic acid) glyceride, etc., are especially preferred] expressed by the formula (two of R1 to R3 are 6-32C fatty acid residue; the rest is H) to an oily cosmetic. The amounts of the ingredients in the cosmetic are preferably 5-35wt.% polymethylsilsesquioxane powder and 1-30wt.% diacylglycerol. The oily cosmetic can be used by combining dimethylpolysiloxane, squalane, olive oil, etc., as an oily base with beeswax, ceresin, solid paraffin, etc., as an oil gelling agent in addition to the above- mentioned ingredients.
