Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the weight and size of a device and enhance operatiang efficiency by eliminating the need for a reduction gear which comprises a worm and a wheel at a geared motor part and a wire winding drum in a wire type power window regulator.
CONSTITUTION: A differential pulley 3 is rotatively supported with a bracket 12 which can move on a rail member 11. The pulley 3 comprises two different- sized and coaxial pulleys (circumferential slot) which rotates in one piece motion. An endless rope 6 is bridged between a first pulley 1 and a second pulley 2 which are rotated by a motor 4. The rope 6 runs from the first pulley 1 to the differential pulley 3. After the rope is wound around a larger-sized pulley of the differential pulley, it is turned back from the second pulley 2 and wound around a smaller-sized pulley 5 and returned to the first pulley 1.
