Abstract:
To provide an okra packing machine for handling okra, which is a vegetable of varying lengths and degrees of bending, is cumbersome for manual work due to short hair on ots surface and difficult for automated selection.SOLUTION: In a conveyor constituting a selection mechanism unit of an okra packing machine, a furthest upstream belt conveyor group and other conveyor groups positioned downstream of it are arranged in a vertical row such that their conveyance surfaces are inclined so as to be higher on the downstream side as a whole. The other belt conveyor groups constitute a pair of belt conveyors in a V-shape. The furthest upstream belt conveyor group constitutes a square "U"-shaped valley with a pair of belt conveyors and a bottom-forming conveyer. At least one of the plurality of belt conveyor groups are rotatably arranged so that a downstream side end part descends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
