To provide a waste tire cutting device which essentially aims at implementation of elimination of beads and cutting of a tire in one step by denture molds arranged on a rotary plates, downsizing and cost reduction of the device by simplifying the structure of the same, easy application of the device to a movable device and a fixed device.
According to the structure of the waste tire cutting device, the rotary plates 10 (10A, 10B) driven for rotation via a power transmitting means by a motor, are arranged on both sides of an opening section in which the waste tire 3 is received, and each rotary plate 10 has arranged thereon a tire retaining blade 20, a bead engaging hook 21, and a tire cutting blade 22. The tire retaining blade 20 is press-contacted to a side surface of the waste tire 3 to draw the tire into a deep recess of the opening section while pinching the same together with the opposite retaining blade 20. The bead engaging hook 21 engages with the bead 25 from inside the drawn waste tire 3, and pulls out the bead while towing the same. The tire cutting blade 22 cuts the waste tire 3 into rings while rotating from one end to the other of the tire.
